1. Introduction

Welcome to resonact.ai("we," "us," or "our"). resonact.aihelps you reach a goal you can measure. You tell us your goal (a “wish”). We use AI to build a plan for it, split into milestones, projects, and tasks, and we help you track your progress (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at resonact.ai and the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are and Contact Information

resonact.ai is responsible for the personal data we collect through the Service.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, information we get when you sign in with Google, and some information collected automatically when you use the Service.

Information you give us

  • Account information: your name and email address. If you sign up with email, we also store your password. We store it only as a secure hash, never as plain text.
  • Your goals and plans: the wishes you set, the measurements you report, and the milestones, projects, tasks, and checklists that you or the AI create.
  • Chat messages: the messages you send to the AI and the replies it gives you, and any files you upload in a chat.
  • Settings: your preferences, such as your profile picture and display choices.
  • Messages to us: feedback and support requests.
  • Billing information: your plan, payment status, and transaction records. Our payment provider handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.

Information from Google Sign-In

If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google shares the following with us, and only with your permission:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your profile picture;
  • your Google account ID.

We ask only for the basic sign-in permissions (“openid,” “email,” and “profile”). We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google data. See Section 5 for how we handle this information.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and language.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and error logs.
  • AI usage records: which AI model handled a request, how much it was used, and the credits it cost. We need this for billing.
  • Cookies: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, plus cookies for security and preferences. See Section 7.

4. How We Use Information

We use information only to run and improve the Service. That means we use it to:

  • create your account and sign you in;
  • build, update, and track the plan for your wish;
  • send your messages and plan details to an AI model and show you its reply;
  • measure AI use, charge credits, and handle billing;
  • send emails you need, such as account verification and password resets;
  • keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • fix bugs and understand which features people use;
  • answer your support requests;
  • follow the law and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. How We Use Google User Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID. We use this data only to:

  • create your resonact.ai account and sign you in;
  • show your name and profile picture inside the app;
  • contact you about your account, such as security or billing notices.

We store this data in our database, along with the sign-in tokens Google gives us, so we can keep you signed in. We protect it with the measures described in Section 9.

We do not:

  • sell Google user data;
  • use Google user data for advertising;
  • use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models;
  • send Google user data to AI model providers;
  • share Google user data with anyone, except as needed to run the Service (for example, our hosting provider), to follow the law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business with notice to you;
  • let people read Google user data, unless you ask us to (for example, in a support request), it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

resonact.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove resonact.ai's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete the Google data we hold, delete your account (see Section 11).

6. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Service. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. If that happens, we will tell you.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and cookies that protect the Service and remember your preferences. Our analytics do not use cookies to track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to sign in without them.

8. Data Retention

We keep your account information, wishes, plans, and chat messages for as long as your account is open, so the Service keeps working for you.

When you delete your account, we delete your account information (including any Google user data), wishes, plans, and chat messages from our live systems. To also remove your uploaded files and profile picture, email us at support@resonact.ai and we will delete them within 30 days. We may keep a small amount of data for longer when we must, such as billing and tax records the law requires us to keep, or records needed to prevent fraud or settle disputes. Backups are overwritten over time.

9. Security

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and limited access to our systems.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise perfect security. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and India, where we and our service providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use proper safeguards for these transfers.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, limit, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent.

  • Update your profile: change your name and picture in your profile settings.
  • Delete your account:open your profile settings and choose “Delete account.” This removes your data as described in Section 8.
  • Remove Google access: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Anything else: email us at support@resonact.ai. We will reply within 30 days.

12. Children

The Service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If we make a big change, we will also tell you by email or in the app.
