Information from third parties
We may receive information from hosting providers, analytics providers, authentication services, payment processors, and AI model providers that support the Service.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- process prompts and return AI-generated responses;
- create and manage user accounts;
- authenticate users and secure the platform;
- measure usage, track credits or billing, and prevent abuse;
- respond to support requests and communicate service updates;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We may use your prompts or outputs to train our own foundation models.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only when needed to run the Service, including with the following categories of providers:
- Hosting and deployment: Vercel provides our hosting, deployment, and content delivery infrastructure. Vercel’s privacy notice is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- AI routing and observability: We may route requests through Vercel AI Gateway, which provides a unified endpoint for AI models, logs spend and model usage for observability, and uses zero data retention by default by deleting prompts and responses after a request completes. More information is available at vercel.com/docs/ai-gateway and vercel.com/docs/ai-gateway/capabilities.
- OpenAI: We may send prompts, uploaded content, and related context to OpenAI when you use features powered by OpenAI models. OpenAI states that it does not train its API models on inputs and outputs through the API and offers zero data retention by request. See openai.com/api and developers.openai.com/api/docs/concepts.
- Google Gemini: We may send prompts, uploaded content, and related context to Google when you use Gemini-powered features. Google’s Gemini API terms explain that paid services do not use prompts and responses to improve products, while unpaid services may be used to provide, improve, and develop Google products and services; Google also describes limited logging for safety and security purposes. See ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms and policies.google.com/privacy.
- Anthropic Claude: We may send prompts, uploaded content, and related context to Anthropic when you use Claude-powered features. Anthropic states that, by default, it does not use inputs or outputs from its commercial products, including the Anthropic API, to train its models. See privacy.anthropic.com and Anthropic training policy.
We may also share information with service providers that help with authentication, payments, analytics, security, fraud prevention, customer support, and legal compliance.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Service, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
Account information is typically retained while your account remains active. Content you submit may be retained for a limited period to provide the Service, support conversation continuity, maintain safety, or comply with legal obligations. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified data for analytics and product improvement.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where available, and restricted access to sensitive systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
The Service may be operated from, and your information may be processed in, countries other than your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and you may not use the Service if you are under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may also opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.
